End User License Agreement

1. License Grant

Screen2Doc is licensed, not sold.

The Developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Screen2Doc for personal or professional purposes on Windows devices where you have been authenticated via the Microsoft Store.

2. Free and Pro Tiers

Screen2Doc is available in two tiers:

FREE TIER — includes basic screenshot capture, image editing, DOCX export, notes (max 10), OCR (5 per day), watermark, timestamp, sessions, and Light/Dark themes. Free to use indefinitely.

PRO TIER — includes all Free features plus: PDF and RTF export, AES-256 encryption, file comparator, file hashing, personal signature, flowchart editor, all 4 themes, blur and crop tools, and unlimited notes and OCR.

3. Subscription and Payment

The Pro tier requires a monthly subscription of €5.99 per month.

All payment processing, billing, and subscription management is handled exclusively by the Microsoft Store. The Developer does not collect, store, or process any payment information.

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Microsoft Store. Upon cancellation, Pro features will remain available until the end of the current billing period.

4. Free Trial

A 14-day free trial of the Pro tier is available to new users. During the trial period, all Pro features are unlocked. After the trial expires, the application reverts to the Free tier unless a subscription is purchased.

The trial can only be activated once per device.

5. Permitted Use

You may:

• Use Screen2Doc to capture, edit, and export screenshots
• Create documentation for testing, QA, auditing, or internal purposes
• Use the software in commercial and non-commercial environments

6. Restrictions

You may NOT:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of Screen2Doc
• Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or lease the software
• Remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices
• Circumvent or attempt to bypass licensing or subscription restrictions

7. Ownership

Screen2Doc and all related intellectual property rights are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Developer.

This Agreement does not grant you any ownership rights.

8. Updates and Changes

The Developer may update or modify Screen2Doc at any time. Updates are delivered through the Microsoft Store. This Agreement applies to all updates unless a revised agreement is presented.

9. No Warranty

Screen2Doc is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

The Developer expressly disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

• Merchantability
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising out of the use or inability to use Screen2Doc, including but not limited to:

• Data loss
• Business interruption
• Loss of profits
• System failure

11. User Responsibility

The User is solely responsible for:

• The content captured or stored using Screen2Doc
• Compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations
• Handling sensitive or confidential information
• Maintaining backups of important data

12. Termination

This license is automatically terminated if you violate any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must cease all use of Screen2Doc and uninstall the application.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and The Netherlands.
